Rare Cold War Air Reconnaissance Models
An Extremely rare Cold War era Soviet tank models used by NATO forces from JARIC (Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligence Centre) RAF Brampton. These were used by the British Photographic Interpretation Units to identify Russian weaponry from aerial photographs. The model date to the late 1950s.
Model of the M653 tank is in metal with rubber tracks measuring 36 x 11cm. Fine detail on all aspects of the tank. Comes n a display board with JARIC label and housed in its own original wooden carrying case measuring 45x25x25cm and weights
There is some slight movement of the tank barrel and slight chipping of the paint work at the barrel base, but otherwise it is in good condition.
